UK Launch of Freshly Cosmetics
Introducing the UK to Spain’s most sought after natural skin and haircare brand
BRIEF:
Barcelona based natural skin and hair care digital brand, Freshly Cosmetics, appointed Bright Light PR to launch its range in the UK and drive awareness among ‘A list’ beauty media and influencers.
STRATEGY:
As part of the launch roll out activity, Bright Light PR gifted 40 key consumer beauty writers samples of the Freshly Cosmetics range along with a press release announcing the brand’s new UK online presence. 20 best selling solution based products and plans from the full range were launched in the UK, created to solve everyday problems that face skin and hair, including air pollution, stress, temperature change and tiredness. Bright Light also announced the news of the UK launch to the trade beauty industry.
In addition to gifting A list beauty media, Bright Light PR approached beauty and lifestyle influencers to introduce them to the range and review the products, and generate noise and conversation around natural beauty products among fellow bloggers.
Themed media alerts were also issued on a monthly basis following the launch period to continue PR coverage momentum and keep the brand top of mind with all media and influencers.
RESULTS:
Since the UK launch in May 2018, 69 pieces of print, online and social media coverage have been generated, with a circulation exceeding 11 million. Coverage highlights include Sunday Mirror Notebook supplement, Natural Health, Now magazine, Best and Top Sante.
